The Snows of Khione: Winter Kingdom Season Pass

The inaugural cast. The original voices. The beginning of a legacy.

THE SNOWS OF KHIONE: WINTER KINGDOM brings the fantastical world of The Naida Saga to life in an original narrative ballet filled with magic, mystery, conflict, and wonder. Inspired by Lisa K. Stephenson's five-book fantasy series, the production combines classical ballet, original choreography, theatrical storytelling, and music to create an immersive journey from page to stage.

Created by Lisa K. Stephenson, Winter Kingdom is where literature becomes movement—introducing audiences to a world of mermaids, kingdoms, forbidden secrets, and two worlds destined to collide.

Presented by The Snows of Khione Ballet Academy, Inc., the production showcases emerging and established dancers in a theatrical experience that celebrates storytelling through movement.

“The story was always meant to be experienced beyond the page. Winter Kingdom allows audiences to enter the world of Naida and experience the story through movement, music, and live performance.”

— Lisa K. Stephenson, Creator of The Naida Saga

Catherine Desciak Named First Snow Ballerina for Winter Kingdom 2026

Through movement, musicality, and theatrical presence, she brings the spirit of winter to the stage, transforming falling snow, glistening ice, and a world suspended in enchantment into a living work of art.
